β Superstar spotlight: R-Truth
R-Truth, or Ron Killings as he would now like to be known, has had a rollercoaster month, which has actually been a good representation of his WWE career. Many would argue that the now 53-year-old starβs peak came in the early 2010s during his feud with John Cena, and things now seem to have come full circle.
Currently on an incredible 17-year-run with WWE, Truth has thrived in both serious and comedic roles, with highlights including his partnership with The Miz, his 24/7 Championship pursuits, and his on-off relationship with The Judgment Day. This has seen the veteran become a beloved and fan-favourite superstar.
After his match with Cena at Saturday Nightβs Main Event, news broke that Truth had been released, and such was the show of discontent from fans, WWE decided to bring him back at Money in the Bank. Now, Truth is once again embroiled in a feud with The Champ, and is set to face him again on SmackDown.

Wrestling recap: WWE King of the Ring 1996
With the 2025 King and Queen of the Ring tournaments being featured heavily on WWE TV at the moment, I decided to look back at the most iconic edition of the menβs tournament. The King of the Ring 1996 event will forever be known for kickstarting the meteoric rise of one of wrestlingβs greatest stars: βStone Coldβ Steve Austin.
The King of the Ring semi-finals on the night were highly competitive, with The Rattlesnake defeating Marc Mero and Jake βThe Snakeβ Roberts getting through against Vader. Other memorable matches include Mankind taking out The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels defending the WWE Championship against The British Bulldog.
The King of the Ring final itself saw Austin dominate Roberts, winning the match with a Stunner and going on to deliver one of the most famous speeches in wrestling history during his coronation. That night, the Austin 3:16 movement was born, WWE found a new top star in βStone Coldβ Steve Austin, and nothing would ever be the same again.
πΊ You can watch King of the Ring 1996 on Netflix, the new home of WWEβs archives.
